Samsung announced this morning that its Media Solutions Center America division is partnering with Khan Academy to bring not just increased educational opportunities to California schools, but Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets as well.
The initiative will bring the tablets to Mountain View Whisman School District. MSCA developed a specially designed Khan Academy app that will take advantage of the Note 10.1s features, such as the S Pens note taking ability. Students will be able to search Khan courses and view lectures and coursework.
Here are the specific schools listed that will initially be involved:
- Crittenden Middle School
- Stevenson Elementary School
- Huff Elementary School
Khan Academy has been doing some amazing things with their online learning tools and it's great to see them brought to the classroom. Full press release after the break.
