The mayor of a northwest Queensland city has reportedly been charged with drink driving.
ABC radio reports Mount Isa mayor John Malone will appear in court on Wednesday after returning a blood alcohol reading of 0.111 on New Year's Eve.
Police say they charged a 69-year-old man with drink driving after he returned a positive blood alcohol reading on Marian Street, Mount Isa, around 9.45am (AEST) on Saturday.
