Austin Film Meet is 100% Volunteer-Powered!
Without our generous volunteers, Austin Film Meet would not be able to survive. If you love supporting local independent film, please consider one of the open volunteer positions listed below. Volunteering is an excellent way to get involved.
PR & Marketing Interns
Got an interest in marketing? Wanna help us get the word out about our organization? No experience required. Just be resourceful, have decent writing skills (as in spelling and grammar, not screenwriting), email-savvy and able to follow directions. We also need writers who have experience or an interest in writing for film-related public relations, including press releases, magazine articles and other advertising-related writing. We have several goals to help bring more exposure for our group.
Event Photographers
We want people to see how much fun we?re have, so we?d like to post 15-30 good shots of our events. Must provide your own equipment, but we?re not picky. Yes, we will include your branding on all photos.
Bloggers
Austin Film Meet is always looking for writers and videographers who are interested in contributing to the AFM blog.
Legal Advice
We are currently seeking qualified legal advice regarding our options for filing as a non-profit and how this might change our organization. If we can help, we are most thankful. Of course, we can?t pay for legal advice at this point, but we ARE able to offer our video production skills in exchange.
If you are interested in contributing, please complete the application below or email us to tell us how you want to help at me@austinfilmmeet.com.
